Valerie Lloyd: In Lieu of Words

When words are not enough—or not welcome—imagery can express the subliminal thoughts, emotions, and empathies we carry. In this collection, flower blooms are rendered in oil on exposed wood panel, their light and shadow embodying both delicacy and boldness.
