Maggie R. MacIndoe: Abstract Notions

“Abstract Notions takes its name from the idea that abstract art is built from a person’s impressions, curiosities, and perceptions-the notions that shape how we see. This collection began with a request from the artist’s daughter for a lighter, more neutral, minimalist piece, and grew into a sustained exploration that same quiet energy.  The paintings invite viewers into a space of imagination and reflection, each piece may serve as a personal mirror."


Maggie Rose MacIndoe is an abstract expressionist and intuitive artist with over 25 years of study and creative exploration. Working in textured acrylic, Maggie draws on nature, movement, and the rhythms of the natural world to create layered expressive works. Maggie’s paintings have been exhibited in Chelsea, New York City and throughout southeastern Colorado.


Maggie has exhibited in New York City, and southeastern Colorado; including La Veta, Trinidad, Pueblo, and Denver.  In Colorado Springs, she has shown her art at Cottonwood Center for the Arts, Bridge Gallery, Academy Art & Frame, Miriam’s Place and Cheyenne Mountain Library
