Jes Moran
PARTS: new work by Jes Moran
About the Show:
PARTS: a collection of work that explores the multifaceted identities in a world that often demands simplicity. It serves as a reminder that we are not defined by a single label or limited to a singular narrative. Instead, we are a tapestry woven from countless experiences, emotions, and perspectives. In this body of work, I confront the notion of a singular identity by celebrating the complexity of our existence.
About the Artist:
Jes Moran creates vivid and saturated abstract paintings by pouring, staining, and brushing multiple layers of acrylic paint onto raw canvas. She then cuts and stitches the canvas into different compositions. Her work explores themes such as identity, space and environments. She attended Metro State University of Denver for fine art and the Art Institute of Portland, Oregon for Apparel Design. Her work has been show along the Front Range of Colorado.
